I just returned from our hike, and just wanted to tell you that it was fantastic! We really enjoyed it very much and it was so well organized! All the hotels put us up in their best rooms and food and lunch packages were great. The rooms in the Haga Haga do smell of the dampness from the coast, but therefore it was actually the best food on the track!

We are back in Malawi and just want to give you feedback on our hike from January. Well, in a nutshell, it was wonderful! Howard and I really enjoyed the daily walks. Each day was long enough to be challenging, but not too long to be disheartening. The lodges and hotels along the way were all good, some fantastic and some great! Food generally was super and the lunch packs sufficient and most welcome. We enjoyed walking unguided, we felt comfortable and confident. Your notes and map helped us. Once or twice we were not sure how much further or if we had taken a wrong path, but generally you can’t go too wrong. We did question the distances on the map – is that as the crow flies, because actual distance walked was quite a bit further each day. We loved that the route was, for the most, remote and uninhabited.
